MAYBACH TO STOP PRODUCTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybach to Stop Production by 2013

Luxury car Maybach hasn't turned a profit for Daimler since 2002, and the company plans to cease production by 2013; offering $100,000 rebate,

If you’ve always wanted a Maybach, now is the time to get one. Daimler accidently revealed just a few days ago that the ultra-luxury vehicle hasn’t made a profit since it was introduced a decade ago, and will stop production come 2013. With news that the Maybach will be out of business, Daimler is offering up a $100,000 rebate to anyone that takes the luxurious sports car off of their hands.

The company plans to sell out the rest of its inventory by 2013 on all Maybach Type 57 and Type 62 vehicles (the former which range from $376,300 to $416,000 and the latter $427,700). The $100,000 rebate might take a hefty chunk from the Maybach sum, if you’re looking to buy. Just think – you could live like Kanye or Jay-Z (both famed owners of the Maybach) for a LOT less.

Daimler doesn’t plan to stay idle – instead, once the Maybach fleet has been depleted from the luxury car company’s domain, a new generation S model from Mercedes-Benz will pop up onto the display. We can’t image this version will have the same affect on the luxury market like the Maybach.
